Gergely Sárréti constructs his works from site-specific, everyday, yet absurd objects. Simple tools and agricultural implements, coated with glow-in-the-dark phosphorescent paint, are transformed into nocturnal constellations. Set against the rural landscape, these luminous objects evoke both village life and cosmic perspectives. “Earthbound Constellations”: objects taken out of their context rise into the realm of transcendence, connecting the sky and the earth.
