The project was realized on the stairs of the railway underpass of Balatonalmádi from the end of summer 2023 as one of the programmes of VEB 2023 (Veszprém-Balaton 2023 European Capital of Culture), where contemporary artists decorated the public stairs of Balatonalmádi with their own ideas.
My idea was inspired by one of my public art works from Szentendre in 2017, using the works of well-known Hungarian painters on the surface of the stairs. Here you can see a part of Márk Rubovics’ painting “Balaton atmosphere (Sailboats on Lake Balaton)”, vectorising the brushstrokes of the waves.
